In 2015, Graincorp awarded TFG Group a contract to fabricate a Clean in Place (CIP) system for the Meadowlea factory in Melbourne. A CIP system allows factories to clean the interior surfaces of pipes, vessels, process equipment, filters and associated fittings, without disassembly.

Industries that require CIP systems are usually those that require a high level of hygiene such as the food and beverage industry.

This Clean in Place system is designed for a three-stage caustic, acid and water rinsing cycle and includes jacketed pipe work to ensure the internal temperature stays at 80 degrees Celsius.
