QA / QC
Hydrostatic Testing
Hydrostatic testing is performed to determine the integrity of tanks, vessels, and piped joints and is used to identify leaks, deformation, and distortion within the product. Testing may include leak testing as well as a pressure drop test to identify unwanted pressure changes within the vessel.
If required within the scope of works, TFG offers fill, and leak tests prior to commissioning our equipment at any of our fabrication facilities.
Where accredited testing is required, TFG partners with a number of NATA accredited agencies who can perform hydrostatic testing either at our fabrication facilities or on-site once installed. These agencies are chosen on their ability to perform testing in accordance with AS 4037, AS 4458, AS 4041, AS 1210, AS 1228, AS 2885.2, AS 1579, AS 1631, ASME V Article 10, and similar national/international standards.
