TFG Group was awarded the fabrication of two Hopper Liners by Davies Wear Plate Systems for the end client Tropicana Gold Mine. TFG successfully fabricated the liners to protect their existing assembly.

TFG’s tradesmen to prepared and assembled the free issue 20mm thick 450 Bisplate liners to extremely close tolerances for the fit to the existing unit on site. The finished assembled liner weighed 8.5 tonnes per hopper. All fabrication, QA/QC & NDT were completed at TFG’s purpose built factory in Welshpool WA.

The final fabricated liners were delivered on time and under budget to the remote site in Central Western Australia. Production resumed without delay.
